One of the things we have learned about worship is that there is no one particular way in which all people come to God in worship. Some people connect to God through music, whether singing, playing instruments, or listening. Others connect to God through various art forms, sculpting, painting, drawing, dance, etc. Helping each other discover the ways we connect to God, brings each one of us closer to God.
Our gathering times may included several of these elements but not to the exclusion of the others. We encourage people to express their adoration to God in whatever way that is most fitting for them.
We prefer to be in a settings where can participate in the worship rather than be observers.

Try one of these ideas when you gather together with some people for a time of experiencing God.
Try a time of silence. Have each person really try to clear their minds of every thought (that is the hard part). After a designated time (using a timer helps to not think about how much time has passed), have each person share what is on their heart at that moment.
Gather together some common household items and place them before the group. Have each person pick an item and share how that item represents their walk with God.
Have a blank canvas or large drawing paper set up. Ask each person to draw or paint something on the canvas that adds to the picture without anyone stating what they are drawing. When everyone has had a chance to add something to the picture, talk about the experience and what God has revealed.
